It’s a mystery to me why the much-improved Salesforce for Outlook that is free with salesforce.com supports only Windows machines. There are paid Apps on the AppExchange for Mac users, but come on.

There is a free App that allows you to sync your Contacts and Calendar between Outlook and salesforce.com, create an Activity right in Outlook, and do all the things you can do with Salesforce for Outlook for Windows. It’s available from a civic-minded developer, and if you are using Outlook on your Mac, it’s worth a look.
